This matter has been settled. When I returned home I contacted my credit card provider and sent all relevant information including rejection email from Air Asia.

The charge was reversed immediately.

Problem solved and no aggravation. Air Asia's customer service is appalling and I feel sorry for its employees.

Air Asia has closed the case. There was no resolution or any attempt to provide customer service.

The live chat is not what most people would believe it to be. You wait almost an hour and then type your details and wait for a response. After ten minutes you are cut off and can go through the whole process again.

At this point I feel sorry for the employees who are put out there day after day with no authority or leeway to resolve problems.

This is Tony Fernandes problem that may well blow back on him one day. Treat your employees like they are idiots, treat your consumer base the same way. However people do get fed up, some will follow like sheep for quite some time. The tide will change.

New carriers will come along... or if the current streak of mishaps continues they will have to step up their game. All sorts of details are glossed over. Makes you wonder if they treat their clients so poorly the staff even worse.

Bad work environment, mistakes made, covered, etc... Tony you should look at the Costco business plan.

Pay people well, treat them well, make them proud of the service they are providing, listen to your customers, deal with proplems effectively and promptly. See happy people everywhere consuming more of your product and telling everyone how great your company is.

Booked a flight on air asia received error message. Rebooked used a different credit card.

Confirmation for second booking received. Two days later confirmations for 1st booking received. Said system would automatically void second booking. Didn't happen.

All eforms for request denied. Live chat a joke. You wait forever and then have 10 minutes to type back and forth. Enough time to state problem then you are disconnected.

Fly once pay tjwice. Scam, fraudsters!

No recourse, no response, complaints forms ignored if sent twice, you are automatically declined. When checking in for flight told agent, he confirmed dluble booking and said a refund would be issued. Not the case.

If you receive error message once you have lut in payment details don't try again. You will end up paying for their systems failure.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Air Asia Cons: No customer service.

I've had exactly the same problem and experince. Double booking and refund request refused with a generic email. I'll do my best not to fly with them again.

This has happened to me. Accept I got confirmation to first booking 5 days later only after I disputed the double charge to my PayPal account.

So now I got 4 tickets for 2 people . Same day and time to the same place. Instead of refunding the money they just go ahead and double book you so they don't have to give you your money back. Waste of time and money.

I'm $1098 down and late for my mortgage which willl cost me more money in interest. Never do I g this mistake again.

This airline is a joke.. No more Air Asia for me.
