Not impressed with service I have received from AirAsia . Yesterday I accidentally booked our trip home from Kuala Lumpur on the wrong date.

( we also have another flight from Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur on same day) so you can see we needed connecting flight home to Gold Coast . When I rang customer service I was advised that there will be an additional fee of $184 just to change date of flight. I asked to speak to a supervisor at least 6 times and was refused. The gentlemen was very unhelpful and was getting quite rude.

I ended up hanging up very upset and angry. I organised an Internet chat with a customer service agent which I was online waiting for over 40 minutes,only to be advised that there is no way they can change the date unless I paid the extra $184.

Again left very unsatisfied I ended up paying the extra money just so I have a confirmed booking. We have flown with AirAsia several times before and been very satisfied but now feeling customer service have let us down and would reconsider ever flying with them again .

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $184.

You needed to learn a lesson in order to be more careful booking flight tickets in the future. This small charge might have saved you from a much bigger charge in the future
